We need your help!
Seneca Valley Band Boosters needs parent involvement in order to help our kids have the best marching band experience! The attached sign-up link gives a list of all of the marching band committees and a brief description of each. Please sign up under any and ALL committees you may be interested in helping with, now or in the future. A committee chair will contact interested individuals with opportunities over the course of the upcoming season. You can choose what you are able to participate in based on your availability. Those who sign up on these lists will be contacted first and given first priority. Thank you for any help you can offer!
Clearances
State Law requires clearances for anyone who interacts directly with students. This includes but is not limited to Chaperones, Band Camp Volunteers and First Aid providers. The following must be completed:
1) Act 151 – PA Child Abuse History Clearance
2) Act 34 – PA State Police Criminal Record Checks
3) Act 114 – Background checks Service Code: 1KG6ZJ
Note: effective July 25, 2015 the fees for the Act 151 and Act 34 checks were waived. The current fee for the Act 114 fingerprint based record check is $21.35.
