Chaperone Application for the 2025 Norfolk Band Trip

We need a few brave Band Parents to join us as Chaperones/Medical Assistants for the 2025 Band Trip to Norfolk, VA! Selection will be based on participation in Band Booster activities throughout the Band season, and also the required numbers of male and female Chaperones (TBD). We also need two Medical Assistants. If interested, please fill out the application (Chaperone Application-2025) and turn in to Todd McHenry (twmchenry@gmail.com) by December 20. 

2024/25 Volunteers Still Needed

 There are still many opportunities to volunteer and get involved with the organization. Below, please find a list of specific areas that will need to be filled. Clearances

State Law requires clearances for anyone who interacts directly with students.  This includes but is not limited to Chaperones, Band Camp Volunteers and First Aid providers.  The following must be completed:  

1)      Act 151 – PA Child Abuse History Clearance 

2)      Act 34 – PA State Police Criminal Record Checks 

3)      Act 114 – Background checks  Service Code: 1KG6ZJ

Note: effective July 25, 2015 the fees for the Act 151 and Act 34 checks were waived.  The current fee for the Act 114 fingerprint based record check is $21.35.
