Pie Fest
Pie Fest is the final event of band camp and will be the debut of the SV Marching Band’s 2018 Half Time show! Pie Fest is a combined celebration of the band’s hard work and a fundraiser to support their needs throughout the year.
Our Pie Fest celebration invites Family, Friends and the public to come see the new half time show and support the band through the purchase of a ticket to not only see the show but entitles them to as much pie, ice cream, and refreshments as they would like before and after the show.
Whole pies can also be purchased and a 50/50 raffle will be offered as additional fundraising activities during the event.
This is one of the Band’s largest fundraising events of the year and many parent volunteers are needed to run it efficiently. Each band family is asked to donate 2 pies to support the event and volunteers are needed in the following areas:
· Pie Cutting (early morning right after band camp drop-off 7:00 – 9:30am)
· Money takers at the door (both cafeteria and stadium)
· Set-up
· 50/50 bucket people
· Whole pie sellers
· Drink, pie and ice cream stockers
· Clean-up
Note: Volunteers WILL NOT miss the half time performance at 6:30! We close the cafeteria so helpers get to see the show too.

This is a great way to get involved in the SV Band Program and get to know many of the other parents and families too. Sign up on the Band Booster web site or look for the sign- up sheets at the Uniform fittings and New Parent meetings over the summer. We could really use your help!

Tuesday, August 21 5:30-8:30pm
5:30pm Pie serving begins (serving halts during band program)
6:30pm SV BAND HALF TIME SHOW
Pie, drinks, ice cream to follow in IHS Cafeteria
Cost: $5 per person / $20 per (immediate) family
Whole pies will be sold for $10.00
